You see those memes about moms and wine. Then you see those “mommy’s sippy cup” wine glasses. Why? Because nothing pairs better with wine than motherhood. Us moms, we love our wine. So here I am showing you how I choose my wine depending on the type of #momwin or #momfail type of days. Because let’s face it, we have those days we think we nailed it and those we think we failed it.

Grocery Outlet

I’ve partnered up with Grocery Outlet to share their awesome wine sale, perfect for us moms. Have you ever shopped at a Grocery Outlet? If you haven’t, you definitely should find yourself one. Grocery Outlet is exactly what it sounds like- an outlet store for groceries. You can find your every day grocery items 40-70% cheaper than traditional grocery stores. Grocery Outlet is similar to other outlets where they carry the surplus items, closeout items, and those where packaging changed.

Right now Grocery Outlet is having their 20% off wine sale #groceryoutletwinesale ! I love my wine and I love a good sale. I was able to score 4 great bottles of wine for a portion of the cost. I was impressed to the see the great variety of wines they carried. There were rows and rows of wine and you could even find $5 bottles of wine. I picked up this tasty red for only $15…while it retails for about $45-$50! Plus the 20% off for their wine sale! Talk about a score!

The rest of the store is filled with grocery and household items for a fraction of the price. It’s a great place to shop to keep that household budget. I went and saw and conquered the wine sale and picked up some extra things while I was there.

#momwin Wine

I love reds. From a cab to a merlot to a solid red, love them. For those days where I feel like I totally knocked the day out of the park I like to celebrate and toast to my awesome day of mothering with a good ol’ red. My favorites are those with a berry flavor. They get me feeling all fresh and badass to say the least. I put the girls to bed and then we pour ourselves a glass and relax. We talk about the day and how awesome we did as we sip something tasty.

#momfail Wine

Then there are those days where nothing got done and every time they cry I want to cry with them. Days like that I’m watching the clock wondering what is an appropriate time to pour myself a glass haha! Those days dinner time seems about as late as I can push it. For a pick me up I like a merlot. Merlot is my go to wine on a rough day.

No matter what type of a day you’ve had moms , Grocery Outlet has your back with their awesome prices! We will definitely be back to Grocery Outlet and stock up on more of their tasty wines before the wine sale ends!

Merlot is a great medicine for a bad day! When I have a bad day I normally do the 70% Cabernet 30% Merlot combo wines!

Right now, my hubby and I are into Merlot. Not for the hard days but because it has a milder taste. I like the softer type of sweet and not overly dry. I have to see if we have a Grocery Outlet near us.

There isn’t a wine fail. You need to try all types of wine to find out what you like. If you don’t finish it use it for cooking the next day
