Hello hello there!
I feel like I have been waiting for what seems like forever to share this post with you guys and the time has finally come! Researching and choosing a double stroller was probably one of the first things I did when we found out we were having twins. It was the one piece of baby gear that seemed different from a singleton.
Cribs, high chairs, ,swings, etc. are the same you just get two right? But double strollers come in so many configurations and with so many different features I needed to research the heck out of it and find those must have features and my dream stroller at the same time. So what stroller did we decide on and what did I find out? The UPPAbaby VISTA checked off all of our boxes and then some. Now let’s see what made the VISTA our absolute must have.

1.Size
One of the biggest factors that drove us to the UPPAbaby VISTA was the fact that it is not your typical oversized double stroller. The VISTA is designed beautifully to work as a single stroller, double stroller, and even haul three kids around with the Piggyback without making it humongous. I could not wrap my head around pushing an extra long stroller or trying to maneuver around the large side by side ones.
2.Storage
With twins and a toddler mama needs all the cargo space she can get and let me tell you the VISTA has that and more! I am able to fit my diaper bag, blankets, and extra bags for those shopping hauls or Disney trips. I mean I can fit up to 30lbs in there! SCORE! Inside the basket you even find two compartments perfect for a water bottle for myself and an easy to access storage spot for keys, etc.

3.Versatility
Like I mentioned before the VISTA has the ability to be a single or double stroller with the ability to tow my toddler with the piggyback. To me this was a HUGE plus. Lia is still at an age where she does get tired and being able to accommodate to her needs and the twins is huge.
Not only can it accommodate our needs with our family size, there are also so many different ways you can configure it as a double. You can use it as a travel system with car seats (we will talk about that a bit later). You can use it with two seats (Toddler Seat and Rumbleseat), facing you, facing each other, one each way-you name it. And for those first few newborn months you can stroll them around in the Bassinets. You can even use those bassinets in your home by purchasing the Bassinet Stand from UPPAbaby! The Bassinet Stand converts to a dual compartment hamper to extend the life of your stand after baby is done using the Bassinet. I love multifunctional items.

4.Smooth ride
My husband and I wanted to test drive the strollers before making a final decision. We were so impressed. The back wheels are bigger than the front making it super sturdy and easily maneuverable. We were able to make turns into all the aisles with ease.
5.Travel System Capability
Having a travel system was so important when Lia was little. I did not have to wake her or move her into her stroller. All I needed was to click her in and I needed to have that. I was worried with a double I would not be able to get that luxury but the VISTA made it all happen for me. We opted for the UPPAbaby MESA infant car seat because of the ease of not needing any additional adapters. All we need are the lower and upper adapters needed for the bassinet or car seat configurations and that is it!

However, don’t feel discouraged. UPPAbaby also carries car seat adapters for Chicco, Nuna, and Maxi Cosi car seats as well. It is important to refer to the UPPAbaby website to make sure you purchase the correct adapters for your corresponding car seat.
6.Durability
If there is one thing I have learned when it comes to baby gear it’s that durability is key. Who wants to keep having to buy the same kind of product over and over again because it lacks durability. From our first “test drive” at the store to the first time we got to push it one thing that stood out was the sturdiness of the stroller. Every part of the stroller felt so secure, from the adapters to the wheels, the frame, and handlebars. Let’s face it kids can be terrors and we definitely want something that can keep up with them.

7.Style
It’s no secret- UPPAbaby strollers and products in general are just beautiful. One thing I feared about needing a double stroller was the idea of needing a big and bulky stroller. I wanted something that still looked sleek and fit our lifestyle. You can find me hauling all 4 of my kids around in style with the VISTA.
