It is the moment many of us have been waiting for, including myself. I have been waiting to finish Lincoln & Lucas’ nursery and share it with you guys since the day we found out we were having boys! I knew from the moment we were having boys a woodland nursery was the perfect for them.
So much work, love, and creativity has gone into this room it is safe to say we are very proud to share. My husband transformed this room and brought to life the vision I had. You can see the progress HERE.

Woodland Nursery for Twins
Woodland Nursery Theme
Before we found out the gender I knew if we were having two boys I wanted a woodland nursery theme. But not just a bunch of animals, mostly bears. My oldest likes to remind me that their room matches Mamma Bear Says and I keep telling her she is 100% correct.
However, there are a ton of woodland nurseries with either the red & black plaid or a ton of green. I wanted to add my own spin to it and make it shades of white, grey, and blue with wood and metal touches to make it rustic.

Furniture
Our furniture fit my vision perfectly! We wanted each of the boys to have their own crib, we wanted a dresser to double as a changing table, and I (I will take full credit here) wanted a glider perfect for our nursing and cuddling moments. We were able to find all we needed from Baby Relax.
We went with the Miles collection in order to keep everything uniformed and cohesive. The Miles 2-in-1 convertible crib will transition easily into a toddler bed when the boys are ready. Remember those metal touches I love? Well the crib headboard and footboard has the perfect metal touches to tie it all together.

To match their Miles 2-in-1 convertible cribs we went with the Miles Dresser. 6 drawers the perfect size to store all we need at hand. Not to mention you can separately purchase the changing table topper which easily attaches to the top of the dresser making it super secure for your little one.
Again-THE METAL! The handles on the dresser have that same metal touch I love so much. I will be sharing how we organized their dresser later on so stay tuned!
Now let’s talk about mamma’s chair! My Raleigh Reclining Glider is probably my favorite spot to be in our whole house. While working on the room I would rock or prop the reclining feature and just enjoy my time in the nursery. It is a beautiful gray color to match the color scheme of the room. I cannot wait to be sitting on it with my two babies in my arms.
Woodland Nursery Decorations
My husband and I ventured into Hobby Lobby, Marshalls, Home Goods, and our trusting Amazon to find different pieces to put it all together. I wanted wood, metal, and very monochromatic structures. Think of it as a rustic woodland nursery.
Neither Rome nor this nursery were built in a day. My husband worked countless hours to paint the room, added a fan (there was no light in there), replace the closet, build furniture, and add everything you see on the walls.
My job was simply to approve and direct from my very comfy glider! After many hours of work we were able to create a room we cannot wait to bring our boys home to. Let me know your thoughts below!
