Hello Mamma Bears,

The birth of our boys is around the corner and we are preparing everything and everyone for their arrival. One thing we have been working on with our older girls, Lia & Zoey, is being more independent and clean. Cottonelle® has been by our side as we worked with our girls. So how do you prepare your kids to be more independent and clean when it comes to the potty?

Hand Washing

Get them in the habit of frequently washing their hands. The best way to make sure they take the time needed to wash thoroughly is to teach them a song. An easy song they can learn to get them through it.

Use Cottonelle® wet+dry combo

As you guys know, the whole teaching your kids to fully clean themselves after using the restroom is a struggle on it’s own. But it is oh so important, the least butts I gotta wipe the better! So what do we do? Well we put in an order for Cottonelle® FreshCare Flushable Wipes (the 4 pack) and Cottonelle® Ultra CleanCare® Toilet Paper (12 Mega Rolls) at Walmart with their Walmart Online Grocery service to easily grab our supplies and just pull up for pick up. Super easy and convenient, no one ever had to leave the car for this!

So why the Cottonelle®  FreshCare Flushable Wipes? Well with their CleaningRipples™ texture you get the softness while removing more. It helps our girls, well let’s be real helps us all clean better versus using dry bath tissue alone. The wet+dry combination truly does offer a Superior Clean. Let’s face it kids flush whatever they can down the toilet so you might as well provide them with something that is 100% flushable! Cottonelle®  is the the No. 1 Flushable Wipe Brand among national flushable wipe brands. I’m not sitting here worried about them clogging the toilet!

After using the Cottonelle®  FreshCare Flushable Wipes we move on to the dry part of this routine, Cottonelle® Ultra CleanCare® Toilet Paper. Because of it’s strength, the girls have learned you dont need to grab 1/2 a roll to wipe! Cottonelle® Ultra CleanCare Toilet Paper is three times Stronger and three times thicker versus the leading national bath tissue value brand. They can wipe without wasting and with the softness their little bottoms need.

Teaching them how to clean effectively has already made such a difference, no more “I need help!” after using the bathroom or any unwanted stains in those chonies, you know what I mean! I will be honest as much as I love how easy it has made teaching them to be clean, I love the fresh and clean feeling I get too! lol!

Teach them to sit/aim

We recently potty trained our toddler and oh my goodness too many times did she start peeing before she was sitting properly on the potty, meaning pee EVERYWHERE! I had to constantly remind her to wait until she pulled down her pants & chonies and sat down before starting to go. I will get a feel for the whole aiming thing when we tackle this with the boys lol, eek!

Signs of went to go

Believe it or not most of the accidents have happened with my oldest. Why? Because she gets so sucked into activities that she decides to wait until she is probably already peeing to run to the restroom. We explained to them the importance of going when you feel and since then have both been much better. No need to watch them like a hawk to make sure they go now.

It's time to get these kids independent with the potty! With the help od Cottonelle and their wet + dry combo it is now so easy to do so! #CottonelleCleanRoutine #DownThereCare #Cottonelle #parenting #parenthood #kids #pottytraining #independenceinkids #parentinghacks #parentingtips #parents #beingaparent #toilettraining #wipes #shop
