This charcuterie board idea is bound to be a hit with your kids. If like me, you seem to find yourself feeding your kids what seems like endless times a day- this idea is for you!
A new favorite in our home has been to create a charcuterie board full of things I know my kids love. All I do is prep and set it out for them to munch on their own time. We make sure to include some of their favorites- Entenmann’s® Minis crumb cake and Entenmann’s® Minis Apple Snack Pies !
We basically cannot go wrong with those two treats along with some fruit and cheese! Talk about balance and deliciousness! So let’s dive right into how to make this beauty!
We basically cannot go wrong with those two treats along with some fruit and cheese! Talk about balance and deliciousness! So let’s dive right into how to make this beauty!
1.Buy your charcuterie board foods
Something sweet & delicious
Entenmann’s® Minis Crumb Cake and Apple Snack Pies are a must! If you haven’t had Entenmann’s® Minis you are missing out! They are so delicious and such quality! To make portioning and indulging in moderation easy-they are made in Individually Wrapped Snacking formats perfect to take on-the-go too.

We love how moist and delicious these treats are for our whole family. You can get a variety of delicious flavors and products nationwide (at Walmart) from Entenmann’s® Minis to add to your board.
Not to mention you are supporting a company that proudly supports our communities. Bimbo Bakeries proudly partner with Feeding America through food donations and volunteerism, supporting our neighbors and communities where we live, work and serve.

Fruit
We love to add fruit to our boards and the kids love it. You can pretty much add any kind of fruit to your board depending on what mood you are in. Some days we make ours with tropical fruits, others we are in the mood for citrus fruits, and sometimes berries and bananas a hit!
You don’t have to limit yourself to fresh fruits either! This is a great time to introduce dried fruits to your kids too!
Cheese
Let’s throw in some protein! We add protein to our boards by including some cheese as a part of it. It can be as simple as cutting up some string cheese you have in your refrigerator or cubing up something as well.
To keep it simple I cut up string cheese or american cheese slices and add those!

2.Put together your charcuterie board idea
Putting the board together is simple. This is the process I enjoy so much because it allows me to make it look pretty.
To start off I always cut up my Entenmann’s® Minis into small cubes or half the pies as well. This makes the portion sizes easier to grab as well as easier to plate my board.
To create a board you can use a plate or your cutting board like I did here. Then you just start making little piles and placing your foods onto your board. You control how much, where, and what kind of food you put on your board
3.Enjoy!
