I want to give thanks to Unique Industries for all Lia’s birthday decor! All opinions are 100% mine & honest as always.
Our little girl turned 4 two weeks ago! Lia was so set on having a Trolls birthday party to celebrate. In true Karen fashion, I did what I could to deliver a truly Troll-fully day!
Celebrating a Birthday Socially Distanced
The hardest part of this time has been not being able to celebrate the way we usually do, surrounded by all our friends and family. We live for these celebrations and everyone gathered. But hey- one day we will get to do that again!
Of course we had a socially distanced type of celebration. To celebrate BIG, because hello birthdays are huge to 4 year olds, we celebrated two days.
Our first celebration consisted of a backyard Trolls birthday party extravaganza with our kids. We turned our backyard into a mix of a water park & Trolls wonderland with the help of Unique Industries and all their amazing party decorations.
We basically threw a normal birthday party minus the guests lol!

There had to be tons of decor! I am so excited that you could find all the Trolls coordinating decorations from Unique Industries at Walmart. It will make decorating for your Troll birthday party SO EASY! You can find the collection we went with HERE.
You can find everything you need from wall decorations, table top decorations, goodie bags, favors, and so much more from Unique Industries.
The first thing we wanted to do was make a balloon garland! I highly recommend a hand or electric pump for this task. We went with a rainbow assortment of balloons to make a fun, bright, and totally Trolls inspired garland. Balloon garlands just add such a fun touch to birthday parties.
For the dessert table/ backdrop I went with this super cute air inflatable rainbow Happy Birthday letter balloon banner. From the patio ceiling, I spread around these super cute Trolls hanging decorations!
I then used pieces of the Trolls World Tour 7 piece decorating kit and placed them around the banner. On the bottom of our ledge I added this pennant banner from the kit and placed the Tiny Diamond pieces on top of it.
Trolls are all about music, the Music Is Life banner was so perfect for the theme! I added more of the swirls around it.
Now what is a 4th birthday without a giant #4 balloon? We HAD TO have it! I made sure to inflate it with my pump only because I did want it to float, I wanted to attach it to a beam.
Now let’s talk our table.
Tabletop Decorations
We opted for a day outside enjoying that California heat so I decorated our picnic table for all the fun! The Trolls tablecloth was perfect to add a fun touch to the table top.
Along with the tablecloth, I was so excited to see Unique Industries makes all the napkins, plates, cups, and cutlery you need! We went with Trolls dessert and dinner plates, luncheon napkins, both the plastic and the disposable cups, and cutlery in matching colors.
The plastic cups are also a great option as a party favor! Super cute and something you can reuse over and over.
A party table is not complete without a center piece! These Trolls boombox decorating kit pieces were perfect to really deck our table out!
Trolls Birthday Party Piñata!
A party is not a party without a piñata! Lia’s eyes lit up when she saw her Poppy pull piñata! Perfect size and such a cute design.
We grabbed some candy, filled it up, and had so much fun letting the kids take turns breaking it. You can also opt for pulling the string too!
Party Favors
For our first celebration, I made party favors for our 4 kids. For each of the table settings, I added some candy, a reusable cup, and some temporary tattoos.
We had so much fun applying the temporary tattoos!
Cake & Food
I had Lia’s Trolls birthday party cake made to match the theme! It was perfect and tasty!
We let the birthday girl decide what she wanted to eat. She wanted “chickens” so I went out to grab some wings and fries for us to enjoy.
It was the perfect way to celebrate her birthday. She had so much fun and basically 4 is the coolest number ever now!
