The last two years have been a whole lot of “survival mode” moments in our home. With 4 kids, I put all the focus on them and my own health on the back burner. As I grow accustomed to our lives becoming a bit more normal, getting my health back on track is at the top of my priorities list.
Minimizing our exposure to COVID-19 along with the challenges of distance learning and my husband working stacked up against me when it came to caring for my own health. Finding a doctor’s appointment was nearly impossible so I never made it in.

By taking the pledge and answering a few simple questions, I can find out what basic tests I need to take and can get same-day results to take to my doctor’s office while waiting for an appointment to open up. But this program is more than taking tests- it is a commitment to re-claiming my health, even as a busy mom. Once I signed up for the pledge, I received a page with Next Steps.
I was able to download the checklist that was specific to my age. Signing up for the pledge offered a great preventative checklist!
This has been super helpful and sort of like doing some prep work for that doctor’s visit. You guys know I am ALL about services and products that make life easy and Labcorp’s “Make Way for Better” program is definitely one of them!
As parents, our health should not be on the back burner. My husband and I don’t want to miss catching any major health issues that can be caught in blood work. The “Make Way for Better” program encourages us to refocus on our own health with helpful tips to get blood tests done while we make our way to our doctor’s appointments.
The “Make Way for Better” Program has spearheaded us doing our part at home and exercising frequently. Some days moving our body looks like an early workout and others it’s a nice long walk with our kids.

There are so many reasons why I need to take care of my health. For starters, for my kids and my husband. I want to be around as long as I can for them
The second reason is for me. I want to have the ease of knowing I am keeping up with my health. My body feels better and with Labcorp’s “Making Way for Better” program I can keep on track.
