I’m always sharing tips, tutorials, etc- but how about some real life moments too? This past weekend I crossed a big to do off my list! While out in Los Angeles we decided to take the kids to USC, my husband’s alma mater. Luckily, I had left home with my camera and I was able to do the USC photo shoot with my kids I had been wanting to make happen for years!

Our Day at USC
Our family is a die hard USC family. If you’re wondering how big of fans, well our family photo shoot last year involved everyone in USC gear! For my husband, USC is his alma mater and is filled with so many memories and lessons learned.
For myself, it brings back so many memories from the beginning of our life together. Fun fact our first date was a tour of the University of Southern California campus & lunch.
Any chance to visit USC is full of nostalgia and so much fun. This trip was no exception. First thing on the list is a tour of the campus. The kids want to see everything and having dad as a guide is a bonus!

Photo Ops
One of the obvious things about USC is the beauty of the campus. It is an unmistakeable campus and you have probably seen it in on TV a few times. There are a few classic locations for photos that you must check out if you’re on campus.
- Tommy Trojan
- Any of the fountains- there are A LOT OF THEM!
- The arches at Mudd Hall
- Steps of Troy
- Traveler
- Bovard Auditorium
If one day my kids end up following their dad’s footsteps you bet we are recreating some of these!
Lia, Linc & Luc L-O-V-E-D running all around campus and getting to know “Daddy’s school”. I highly recommend visiting when school is not in session and on the weekends to avoid a crowded campus.
