Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and I was so inspired by Amber of Damask Love to add my own spin to her cozy Valentines Day wreath. This tutorial will show you how to make a simple yet beautiful wreath that will add a touch of love to your home.

DIY Yarn Valentines Day Wreath
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Metal wreath frame
- Loopy yarn (in colors of your choice)
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Embellishments (optional)

Step 1: Loop the Yarn around the Metal Wreath
Take your loopy yarn and start wrapping it around the metal wreath frame. You can use one color or multiple colors, it’s up to you! Keep wrapping the yarn tightly around the frame, making sure to cover the entire surface.

Step 2: Tie the Yarn to Hang the Wreath
Once you have covered the entire wreath frame with yarn, cut additional yarn and tie it securely to the wreath. This will be the loop that you’ll use to hang the wreath on your door.
Step 3: Embellish the Valentines Day Wreath
This is where you can get creative! I used sticky foam hearts I had leftover from another project for mine. You can add any embellishments you like to make the wreath truly unique. Amber’s tutorial consisted of some super cute felt roses! Some ideas include:
- Adding a bow made of ribbon or yarn
- Tying on a few silk flowers
- Attaching small hearts or other Valentine’s Day decorations
- Adding a personal touch with a handwritten message or your initials

Your wreath is now complete and ready to hang! This wreath is a perfect way to show your love this Valentine’s Day, and it’s sure to brighten up any room in your home.
Have fun and Happy Valentine’s Day!
