As a busy parent, I understand the importance of showing appreciation for the hardworking individuals in our lives. One group of people that often go unnoticed are delivery drivers. These individuals work tirelessly to ensure that our packages and groceries are delivered on time and in good condition. To show our appreciation for these unsung heroes, we set up a snack station for delivery drivers.

Lia and I started setting up our station during the pandemic. It was such a hit to our delivery drivers and a lot of fun to do with our kids so we kept it going. Our kids have been so invested they will make sure to give a little “Don’t forget your snack!” reminder when we get a delivery.

Setting Up a Snack Station for Delivery Drivers

A snack station is a simple and effective way to show appreciation for delivery drivers. It can be as simple as setting up a small table with snacks and drinks that drivers can grab on their way in and out of your neighborhood or office. The best part is, it’s easy to set up and maintain. All you need is a small table rolling cart, or basket , a few snacks, some drinks, and the FREE signs I have for you.

One of the best things about setting this up is that it’s a small gesture that can go a long way. Imagine a delivery driver who has been on the road all day, finally reaching your neighborhood or office and being greeted with a table full of snacks and drinks. It’s a small act of kindness that can brighten their day and make them feel appreciated.

Another great thing about setting up a snack station is that it’s a great way to build community. By setting up a snack station, you’re inviting delivery drivers to take a break and interact with your neighbors, colleagues, and yourself. This can lead to conversations and connections that wouldn’t have happened otherwise. It’s a great way to build community and show appreciation for the people who work hard to keep our communities running.

Snack Options

When setting up a snack station, it’s important to keep in mind that delivery drivers have different dietary needs and preferences. To accommodate everyone, try to include a variety of snacks and drinks. Some great options include:

  • Water
  • Sports drinks
  • Fruit (apples, oranges, bananas)
  • Granola bars
  • Trail mix
  • Protein bars
  • Candy
  • Coffee
  • Tea

As a busy parent, I understand that time is precious and setting up a snack station may seem like a daunting task. That’s why I’ve included free “Thank You” signs for you to print out and display next to your snack station. This way, delivery drivers will know that the snacks are for them and will feel appreciated.

Setting up a snack station for delivery drivers is a simple and effective way to show appreciation for the hardworking individuals in our lives. It’s a small act of kindness that can go a long way in brightening someone’s day and building community. And with the free “Thank You” signs included in this blog post, it’s never been easier to show your appreciation. So, next time you’re expecting a delivery, set up a snack station and show some love to your delivery driver.
