Custom Name Tag Directions
Step 1: Using Design Space, select your bunny image and size it accordingly. For this tutorial, we used a 5-inch design. If you prefer, you can use our design linked HERE.
Step 2: Follow your machine’s prompts to cut your vinyl. We are using smart vinyl, so no mat is needed. If you use regular vinyl, grab your standard grip mat for this step.

Step 3: Prep your basswood by adding scotch tape on the edges to hold it down on your strong grip mat. This will give it extra support and help prevent moving while cutting.
Step 4: While your basswood is cutting, weed your vinyl using your weeding tool.

Step 5: Once your basswood tags are cut, you can paint or stain them. I decided to paint mine in my kids’ favorite colors. Let them dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Step 6: Using your transfer tape and scraper tool, add the custom names to your bunny tags. This is where you can really make the name tags personal and unique.

Step 7: For an extra touch, we added twine and some wooden beads to the tags. This not only adds some texture and visual interest, but it also gives the tags a fun and playful vibe.

And there you have it! A cute and custom bunny-shaped Easter basket custom name tag that is sure to impress. Plus, by using a Cricut Maker, you can easily create multiple tags in no time.
