5 Tips for Visiting Kenny’s Strawberry Farm

1.Make Your Reservations

First things first, be sure to make a free reservation before you go. The farm is a popular spot, especially during peak strawberry season, and reservations ensure that you’ll have a spot to pick your own strawberries and enjoy all of the fun activities the farm has to offer.

2.Check for Activities

Speaking of activities, there’s always something new happening at Kenny’s Strawberry Farm. From chocolate covered strawberry classes to candle workshops, there’s something for everyone. Be sure to check their Instagram for the latest updates on classes and events.

3.Strawberry Picking

Of course, the main attraction at Kenny’s Strawberry Farm is the strawberries themselves. Our kids loved picking their own strawberries, and we came home with a delicious bounty to enjoy. And if you’re not in the mood to pick your own, there’s always the option to purchase pre-picked strawberries from the farm stand.

4.Kenny’s Strawberry Kitchen

But the fun doesn’t stop at strawberry picking and classes. After picking strawberries, we headed over to the farm kitchen to sample some of their delicious treats. The strawberry lemonade was a particular hit with our family, and we also indulged in some strawberry shortcake and strawberry popsicles. It was the perfect way to cap off a fun and tasty day.

5.What to Bring & Wear

Our first trip to Kenny’s Strawberry Farm was when our now 6 year old was only 1. So I am going to toot my own horn and call myself a Kenny’s regular and expert haha! First and foremost, be mindful of the shoes you wear. I am all for a cute outfit and all the photos, however, be mindful that you it is a farm after all and dirt and mud are part of the deal.

My other two must haves are sunscreen and a hat. We have been there when it is sunny and when it is cloudy and trust me, a hat and sunscreen are musts for either.

Overall, we had a wonderful time at Kenny’s Strawberry Farm. It’s a great spot for families with kids of all ages, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. So if you’re in Southern California and looking for a fun and delicious outing, be sure to check out Kenny’s Strawberry Farm. Just remember to make a reservation, and don’t forget to check their Instagram for the latest updates on classes and events.
